Spanish

I first encountered the Spanish language while studying in the UK. I actually decided to take it as an additional subject for my GCSE. There were many Spanish students in my school, they all went there to learn English. Somehow I liked to hang around with them. Indeed, they taught me a lot of Spanish, including slang and swear words. I still miss my Spanish friends today.

Spanish is the favorite language I have learned so far. For some reason, I find it very natural and easy to pick up. It is widely spoken around the world, and is gaining popularity in the US due to the growing Hispanic population. However, I rarely hear people speaking Spanish in Toronto.

I have not worked on the language since GCSE. My current plan is to resume it after I gain some success in my French. Meanwhile, I am not sure if I can offer any help to other Spanish learners. I can offer my sincere support for sure though.
