The Old Testament is predominantly written in Hebrew. All I know about Hebrew is that it has 24 alphabets and vowels are omitted in the writings. I probably will not learn the language, but I would love to know the grammar and tenses so that I can understand the original Hebrew Bible better.

There is a large Jewish community in Toronto, and I just wonder if they teach Hebrew there.

Hi there,

You may want to consider calling Kolel at 416-636-1880 x 235. Although it’s a Jewish/religious organization, they do offer Hebrew lessons, and the centre is more of a liberal one than a strictly religious one.
